The Sony PC110 rig is a very easy to use underwater video package capable of providing great quality footage that transfers well to both video and DVD, and is more than sufficient for viewing on large screen televisions.

The Ikelite housing offers five control knobs that operate the key functions of the camera:

• On/off and video/playback mode
• Record/stop recording
• Zoom control
• Photo capture
• Focus to infinity

The housing includes a mirror that enables you to view what you are shooting using the LCD screen of the camera, so there's no need to be looking through a small viewfinder: this makes underwater videography almost as easy as shooting topside.

A UR-Pro filter is also supplied that compensates for the reduction of red colour caused by the water, making underwater footage appear more natural in colour and more vibrant. Depending on the visibility and the brightness of the day 'topside' you can capture good looking footage down to 25m or deeper in some cases with no need for additional lighting.
