Do I need to know much about photography?
Our cameras are all easy to use, 'point and shoot' consumer digital cameras that you will probably be familiar with on land. All you really need to know to use them (even underwater) is how to turn them on, and how to press the picture button.
If you want to take more control over the camera, adjust flash deployment, focussing modes, exposures, white balance and all those other fun technical things, most of our cameras will let you do that too.
What is in the package?
Each camera comes with a waterproof housing, which keeps the camera dry underwater, whilst letting you access all the controls on the camera. The housings are rated to 40m, which is deep enough to satisfy most recreational divers.
The cameras are equipped with large memory cards which will allow you to take hundreds of pictures before the camera is full. That's more than enough for most divers over a couple of dives!
We provide cables to enable you to transfer your pictures your own computer. If you wish, we can copy all of your pictures from the camera to CD for you at the end of your hire.
The camera and housing are provided in a very robust, waterproof case that protects the rig. It even floats! Charges and cables etc. are provided in a separate box.
Are external strobes included?
External strobes are not included in the camera rigs, however they are available as an additional item. See accessories for futher details
